I Rise

**I Rise** is an American hardcore punk band from Worcester, Massachusetts. Formed in 2007, the band consists of vocalist Nicky Kantarelis, guitarist Alex Kantarelis, bassist Chris Berg, and drummer Ben Bassett. Their early lineup included brothers Nicky and Alex Kantarelis, formerly of Youth Attack, along with guitarist Danny Kelly, bassist Joe Voe, and drummer Jackson Massucco, who later left to focus on Four Year Strong. I Rise released several notable works, including the EP *Down* in 2007, a split EP with Soul Control, and their full-length album *For Redemption* in 2008. The band toured extensively across the United States, Canada, and Europe, supporting acts like Verse and Bane. After a hiatus, they played a reunion show in 2015, but have since remained inactive.

Their music reflects a strong hardcore punk influence, with energetic live performances and a dedicated fan base. Despite their relatively short active period, I Rise left a mark on the hardcore punk scene with their intense sound and dynamic live shows.
