Gutterblood

Gutterblood is a Scottish band formed in 2019, blending a diverse mix of blues, indie, doom, punk, politics, and prog to create a unique and dynamic sound. Hailing from Peebles and Leith, they deliver music with strong political messages, tackling issues like greed, corruption, mental health, and addiction, all while maintaining a spirit of DIY and self-empowerment. Their sound incorporates influences from a wide range of rock genres, including post-punk, stoner rock, and reggae, often combining raw energy with intricate song structures that keep listeners engaged.

They released a self-titled debut album mastered by John McBain (known for his work with Monster Magnet and Queens of the Stone Age), which has been well received and featured on notable channels such as Rob Hammer and Mr Doom. Known for powerful basslines and drums paired with shimmering and noisy guitars, Gutterblood’s music also features elements like dub sirens and synths, creating a vibrant mix of punk and dance vibes.
