Lauriete
Lauriete Rodrigues de Jesus, known professionally as Lauriete, is a Brazilian gospel singer and former politician born on February 23, 1970, in Vitória, Espírito Santo. She began her music career at the young age of 12, releasing her first album in 1982. Lauriete has since become a prominent figure in contemporary Christian music in Brazil, with a career spanning over four decades.
Throughout her musical journey, Lauriete has released numerous albums, with some of her most notable works including "O Poder do Amor" (1991), "Palavras" (1999), and "O Segredo é Louvar" (2001). Her music has earned her several nominations for the Troféu Talento awards. In addition to her musical career, Lauriete served as a federal deputy for Espírito Santo for three terms, representing various political parties including the Social Christian Party and the Liberal Party.
