Moya Brennan, born Máire Philomena Ní Bhraonáin on August 4, 1952, known professionally as Máire Brennan and later as Moya Brennan, is an Irish folk singer, songwriter, harpist, and philanthropist. She hails from Gweedore, County Donegal, and sings primarily in English and Gaelic. Brennan achieved international prominence as the lead vocalist of Clannad, a family band that pioneered the blend of traditional Irish music with modern genres. Her ethereal voice and harpist skills have been a hallmark of the band's distinctive sound, contributing to Clannad's Grammy Award win and global success.

Embarking on a solo career, Brennan has established herself as a celebrated artist in her own right.
