Tranzmitors

The Tranzmitors are a pristinely energetic power pop/punk band emerging from Vancouver, Canada, that have been catching the ears and feet of listeners since their formation in the mid-2000s. The brainchild of veteran scene musicians like vocalist/guitarist Bryce Dunn (formerly of The Smugglers) and guitarist Mike Flintoff, the Tranzmitors channeled the fervor of 1970s punk rock through a filter of sharp melodies and effervescent hooks reminiscent of the golden age of British power pop.

The band released a number of electrifying singles that garnered acclaim across the power pop and punk rock communities, such as "Concrete Depression / A Little Bit Closer" and "Teenage Tragedy 7", alongside their punchy self-titled full-length album. The Tranzmitors' sound is characterized by its infectious energy, tight musicianship, and catchy tunes that often address themes of contemporary dissatisfaction within a modern social landscape, as reflected in "Bigger Houses, Broken Homes 7" and "Busy Singles". With a flair for collaborating, their record "Lisa Marr with the Tranzmitors" showcases the dynamic fusion of Marr's striking vocal presence with the band's knack for cooking up memorable riffs and choruses, further solidifying their reputation as purveyors of irresistible, foot-stomping anthems.
