World Of Damage

World of Damage is a solo project from Norwegian guitarist Kjell Age Karlsen, also known as Mr. Damage. This project began as a way for Karlsen to explore his musical interests outside of his work with the band Chrome Division. World of Damage's music is characterized by a blend of various rock and metal styles, often featuring guest vocalists who are selected based on their fit for specific tracks. For example, the album "Invoke Determination" includes vocals from Roy Khan on the track "Breathe," as well as Eddie Guz on "Spoke In The Wheel," which takes a sharp turn into southern country rock.

The project was formed in 2020, and its debut album, "Invoke Determination," was released in June 2021 on WOD Records. The album showcases Karlsen's adaptability in collaborating with different vocalists to create a diverse musical experience. World of Damage is active and continues to explore modern metal genres with a focus on melodic and groove elements.
