Ronaldo Reseda

Ronaldo Resedá, born Ronaldo Andrade de Moraes on October 16, 1945, in Rio de Janeiro, was a multifaceted Brazilian artist known for his work as a dancer, actor, singer, and television presenter. He began his career teaching jazz dance and had notable students such as Lauro Corona, Marília Pêra, Lucélia Santos, and Zezé Motta. Resedá gained fame in the late 1970s for his disco music, earning him the nickname "Kid Discoteca." He participated in several successful stage productions and contributed to soundtracks for popular Brazilian soap operas, including "Dancin' Days," "Plumas e Paetés," and "Marrom Glacê." His only full-length album was released in 1979 by Som Livre. Resedá's career was cut short when he passed away on September 12, 1984, due to a brain tumor.

Resedá's music often featured upbeat disco tracks, and his performances were known for their energetic and lively style. Despite his untimely death, his legacy remains in the vibrant Brazilian music scene of the 1970s and early 1980s. His songs, such as "Kitch Zona Sul" and "Marrom Glacé," continue to be enjoyed by fans of retro Brazilian pop.
