Blood Orange is the moniker of Devonté Hynes, a British singer, songwriter, record producer, and composer whose music is an eclectic blend of R&B, funk, alternative rock, and soul with elements of electronic and avant-garde influences. Dev Hynes started his career with the dance-punk band Test Icicles during the early 2000s. After the group disbanded, he released music under the name Lightspeed Champion.
