Peter Erdei

Péter Erdei is a renowned Hungarian conductor and educator, best known for his work in choral music. He has been a professor of choral conducting at the Liszt Academy of Music and the Kodály Institute in Kecskemét, Hungary. Erdei has had a distinguished career, conducting several notable choirs, including the Hungarian Radio Choir and the Debrecen Kodály Choir. He is also the founding conductor of the New Liszt Ferenc Chamber Choir and the "Énekes Kör" (Choral Circle) in Kecskemét. Erdei has been instrumental in promoting contemporary Hungarian choral works and has given numerous masterclasses worldwide. His contributions to music education have been recognized internationally, including being granted Honorary Membership by the International Kodály Society.

Erdei's artistic activities include conducting and recording works by prominent composers like Zoltán Kodály.
