Diego Gutiérrez is a Cuban singer-songwriter born in Ciego de Ávila on September 25, 1974. His music blends elements of Nueva Trova, Latin pop, folk, World Music, and rock, reflecting the diverse rhythms and genres of his country. Gutiérrez's career began to flourish during his time at the Central University of Las Villas, where he started writing his first compositions. He co-founded the La Trovuntivitis songwriter's club in Santa Clara, a hub for emerging singer-songwriters. His albums include *De Cero* (2006), *Palante el Mambo* (2018), *Piloto Automático* (2019), and *Viaje al Centro de la Tierra* (2021). He has performed internationally in countries like the United States, Spain, and Argentina, and has collaborated with notable Cuban musicians.
