Rawan Roshni

Rawan Roshni is a dynamic and multifaceted artist based in Jordan. She is an independent singer-songwriter, sound practitioner, performance artist, and community facilitator who has performed across the MENA region. Rawan's music spans multiple genres, reflecting her eclectic artistic style. She has co-founded several interfaith and world music projects, including the duo SemaZen and the World Music Fusion project Qamarjan. Recently, she has been touring her solo tri-lingual live-looping music and poetry performance, "Al-Tuyoor: Messages from the Birds," across multiple countries. Her work often combines sound, movement, and intuitive rituals, focusing on themes like conflict transformation and collective liberation.

Rawan is also known for her facilitation efforts in brave spaces, emphasizing conflict transformation, collective liberation, feminine leadership, and emotional processing. She incorporates elements such as group singing, sound work, whirling dance, and nature-based practices into her performances. Her artistic identity as an "Artivist" blends her musical talents with activism and social engagement, particularly in the SWANA region.
