Philippe Rombi

Philippe Rombi is a French composer known for his evocative and atmospheric film scores. Born in 1968, he studied music at the Conservatoire de Paris and began his career in the early 1990s. Rombi has composed music for over 50 films, including "The Diving Bell and the Butterfly," "The Artist," and "Polisse." His scores are characterized by their use of strings, piano, and electronics, and often feature a haunting and melancholic quality. Rombi has received numerous awards for his work, including two César Awards for Best Original Music.
