Young Leek

Young Leek, born Talik Deshawn Baker, is a rapper from Baltimore, Maryland. Originally from Atlantic City, he made his way to Baltimore, where his music career took off. His breakthrough came with the single "Jiggle It" in 2006, which gained popularity in Baltimore clubs and radio, thanks in part to DJ K-Swift. This success caught the attention of Plain Pat from Def Jam Records, who signed Young Leek at just 15 years old. His sound is often described as reminiscent of Nelly and Bow Wow. Despite his early success, Young Leek's journey with Def Jam did not result in an album release, leading him to pursue his career independently.

Young Leek's music includes other notable tracks like "Ain't Scared" and his more recent release, "Thick." He has been focused on building his own brand and business ventures, aiming for longevity and success in the music industry.
