Specifically, Hillsong 華語 focuses on creating Mandarin worship songs to cater to the Chinese-speaking believers around the world. The group is known for singing popular Hillsong songs in Mandarin, such as 萬王之王 (translates to "King of Kings") and 何等榮美的名 (translates to "What a Beautiful Name"), allowing Chinese-speaking worshipers to connect with the power of Hillsong's worship music.

With the aim of building a global community of worshipers, Hillsong 華語 has also collaborated with other international worship teams in producing music in various languages, such as in their "Global Project 華語" album series.
