Mingo Rajandi

Mingo Rajandi is a versatile artist based in Brussels, originally from Estonia. She is a composer, double bass player, and creator of interdisciplinary artistic projects. With a background in theatre studies and music, Mingo's work often blends different art forms, reflecting her fascination with languages, literature, and visual arts. Her music career took off after she discovered the double bass during her acting studies, leading her to pursue degrees in jazz performance and composition at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. Mingo's projects frequently explore themes from literature and theatre, and she has collaborated with various artists, including Estonian musician Erki Pärnoja.

Mingo's recent work includes projects like "Elajannad," which explores themes of women's lives through music and theatre, and upcoming commissions such as "Werewolves" for the Jazzkaar Festival.
