Disqo Volante

**Disqo Volante** is the neon-drenched indie electronic brainchild of Portland-based duo Marisol Vega and Theo Karr. Since forming in 2017, the pair has carved out a retro-futuristic lane, blending squelchy synthwave grooves with glitchy modern production – imagine a VHS tape left out in the rain, still miraculably playing. Their 2022 breakout EP *Neon Reverie* introduced staples like the glittering "Moon Rabbit" and the wistful "Wire and Sherbet Sky," while 2023's punchy standalone single "Yellow Fervor" leaned into their love of hyperpop chaos. Known for a fiercely DIY ethos (they built their own analog synth rig and screen-print all their merch), their 2024 releases "Net Loss" and "Re: Lit" doubled down on their signature sound: equal parts nostalgia trip and dancefloor rebellion.
