Orchestra New Philharmony St. Petersburg is a Russian orchestra based in St. Petersburg. The orchestra was founded in 1998 by conductor Yuri Temirkanov and is known for its performances of classical music, particularly the works of Russian composers such as Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, and Prokofiev. The orchestra has toured extensively throughout Europe, Asia, and the Americas, and has released numerous recordings on the Naxos label.
