Murk is a Miami-based electronic music duo consisting of producers Oscar G (Oscar Gaetan) and Ralph Falcon. Known for their signature blend of deep house and tribal rhythms, Murk rose to prominence in the 1990s with a string of influential tracks and remixes. They’ve worked under various aliases over the years—such as Funky Green Dogs—and produced house essentials like “Some Lovin’,” “Fired Up!,” and “Dark Beat,” the latter becoming a defining anthem within the tribal house genre.
The duo is also known for collaborating with vocalists like Crystal Waters, Oba Frank Lords, and Jei, giving their grooves a distinctive soulful and underground club sound. With their gritty percussion, hypnotic basslines, and Latin-infused vibes, Murk helped shape the sound of Miami house and remain influential in both DJ sets and dance music history.
