Manic Movement

Manic Movement is a Belgian metal band formed in 1993 by Olivier Wittenberg, who is the founding member and composer. The band originated from Geraardsbergen, East Flanders, but is sometimes associated with the area around Grammont. Over the years, they have explored various metal genres, including Gothic, symphonic, and melodic death metal. Some of their notable releases include *Discipline*, *Thousand Sufferings*, *Dark Glitter*, and *Hot Hot Hot*. Manic Movement was active until around 2010, after which Wittenberg shifted his focus towards producing local music. The band has been on hold since then.

Their career highlights include participating in significant events like the Graspop Metal Meeting in 2002. Manic Movement has had a diverse lineup over the years, with notable members including Filip De Graeve and Maarten Verbeke. Despite their varied lineup, they maintained a strong presence in the European metal scene during their active years.
