Elia Cecino is an accomplished young Italian pianist born in 2001. He began his piano studies at the age of nine with Maddalena De Facci and quickly advanced, graduating summa cum laude from the Cesena Conservatory at just 17. Since then, Elia has earned numerous awards, including winning the XXXVI Premio Venezia, and studied at prestigious institutions such as the Accademia del Ridotto di Stradella under Andrzej Jasinski. His career has taken him around the world, performing in Europe, the United States, and Israel with renowned orchestras like the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic and Israel Philharmonic. Beyond his performances, Elia is passionate about spreading classical music to diverse audiences and has been involved in community projects including organizing events for children and donating a piano to an orphanage in Bucharest.
Known for his rich repertoire covering composers like Brahms and Chopin, Elia continues to participate actively in international competitions, recently taking part in the 2025 Cliburn Competition. He balances concertizing with artistic projects and mentorship from prominent pianists, including Boris Berman and Eliso Virsaladze.
