Deathbringer is a progressive death metal band formed in 2001 in Grodno, Belarus, by guitarist Artyom Serdyuk. The band quickly took shape with the addition of bassist Valery Poznyak and vocalist Mitry Molochnikoff by spring 2002. Known for their technical and brutal death metal style, they recorded their debut album "Homo Divisus" in 2005 at Studio-X in Poland with engineer Szymon Czech and guest musician Jacek Hiro. Over the years, Deathbringer has shared stages with notable acts like Veld and Thy Disease, and their sound incorporates influences from legendary metal bands such as Sepultura, Slayer, and Machine Head.
Their musical output includes releases like "Rawness," "Elemental Disorder," and "Avoid Reality," characterized by heavy, groove-infused, and intricate technical death metal elements. Deathbringer continues to be active, known for delivering heavy brutality mixed with mechanical grooves, contributing to the modern progressive death metal scene with a solid and distinctive sound.
