Perry Sisters

The **Perry Sisters** are a Southern Gospel music group that originated in Huntington, West Virginia, in 1974, initially consisting of Diana Perry Gillette and her sisters, Bonnie and Carol. They became the first professional ladies trio in Southern Gospel and have had numerous hits throughout their career, including "I Wonder How Mary Felt," "There'll Be A Payday," and "Resurrection Morn." Diana Perry Gillette, the remaining original member, continues to lead the group, which has been reorganized over time. They have recorded many albums and achieved significant recognition, including awards for Favorite Female Group at the SGN Music Awards.

The Perry Sisters have been influential in the gospel music scene, known for their harmonies and songwriting. Diana Gillette is a notable songwriter in the industry, and the group's music often features family members. Tammy Underwood, Diana's niece, contributes with her soprano vocals and guitar skills. Despite health-related hiatuses, the Perry Sisters have maintained their presence in the music scene, recently resuming performances and recordings with more flexible schedules.
