Bharat Sundar

Bharat Sundar is a renowned Carnatic vocalist from Chennai, India. Born on August 30, 1988, he began his musical journey at a young age, initially under the guidance of his maternal aunt, Gayathri Mahesh. He later trained under the tutelage of Vidushi Mrs. Leelavathi Gopalakrishnan and her son Sri. G Srikanth. Bharat Sundar is known for his distinctive voice, which blends tradition with creativity. He has performed extensively in both domestic and international music festivals, including the prestigious Madras Margazhi Music Season. He also holds the title of A Grade artist of All India Radio and has earned a Master's degree in Indian Classical Music from the University of Madras.

Bharat Sundar's recent works include albums such as "Bhuta Linga Vilasam" and "Enna Thavam," reflecting his innovative approach to Carnatic music. His involvement in various projects, like "Bharathi et Moi (Bharathi and Me)" and live performances like the "Madrasana Carnatic Festival 2018 (Live)," demonstrate his versatility and passion for classical music. Despite not coming from a family of musicians, his parents recognized his talent early on, encouraging him to pursue classical training. This laid the foundation for his successful career as a singer and composer.
