Arktotus

Arktotus is a Russian black metal band from Tver, formed in 2006 by Cimeries (Nikolay Lotoyev). Initially conceived as a solo project, it evolved into a full-fledged band by early 2007. The group's style is characterized as melodic black death metal. Over the years, Arktotus has released several notable works, including the demo "Kill Yourself" (2007), the EP "Hatred" (2009), and the full-length album "World on the Verge" (2013). They have also performed live, with a notable release being "Chaotic Live in Peterburg" (2014). The band's lineup includes Cimeries on lead guitar and vocals, D.SS on bass, Infernal Butcher on drums, and Thoth on rhythm guitar.

Arktotus has shared the stage with both Russian and international black metal bands, contributing to the genre's vibrant scene. Their music reflects a dynamic and high-energy approach, with a focus on intense melodic elements and powerful performances.
