Steve Gibbons Band

The Steve Gibbons Band is a British rock group formed in the mid-1970s, fronted by singer-songwriter Steve Gibbons. Based in Birmingham, England, they gained a loyal following for their energetic live performances and a sound that blends rock, rhythm and blues, and a touch of country. Their debut album "Any Road Up" was released in 1976, followed by "Rollin' On," which included one of their best-known tracks, a cover of Chuck Berry’s “Tulane” that reached the UK Top 20.

Throughout the late '70s and early '80s, the band toured extensively, including supporting The Who and performing in Europe and the United States. Known for their gritty storytelling and road-hardened style, the Steve Gibbons Band built a solid reputation as a tight, no-nonsense rock outfit. Gibbons himself has remained an active performer over the decades, keeping the spirit of the band alive with continued releases and live shows.
