Jehovah-Nissi Ogulu, known professionally as Nissi, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and entrepreneur. She is notably the younger sister of Grammy-winning Afrobeats superstar Burna Boy and comes from a family deeply rooted in the Nigerian music industry, with her mother Bose Ogulu being a renowned music executive. Nissi began her musical journey early, learning piano at five and singing shortly after. Her sound is an eclectic blend drawing from urban pop, highlife, Afro-jazz, house, Afro-punk, and Afrobeats, reflecting her versatility and creative range.
Nissi released her debut single "Pay Attention" in 2016 and followed up with successful projects including her 2020 EP "IGNITE" and singles like "Move X2" and "Judi." Beyond music, she is also an engineer and founder of Creele Animation Studios. She has been involved in innovative collaborations, including contributing to the design of the 2023 Range Rover and launching a charity NFT collection. Nissi has performed at major festivals such as Afro Nation Miami and AfroNation Portugal, steadily gaining recognition for her unique artistic vision and boundary-breaking work in music and technology.
