Our Native Daughters is a Grammy-nominated supergroup featuring Rhiannon Giddens, Amythyst Kiah, Allison Russell, and Leyla McCalla. These four powerhouse musicians came together in 2019 to celebrate the contributions of Black women to American roots music. Their debut album, "Songs of Our Native Daughters," was a critical and commercial success, earning them a Grammy nomination for Best Folk Album. Their music is a blend of traditional folk, blues, and gospel, with a focus on the stories and experiences of Black women throughout history.
