Behest

Behest is a blackened hardcore band hailing from Cape Town, South Africa. Their sound blends elements of black metal and grindcore to create an intense, aggressive style. The group has released several EPs, including their self-titled debut in 2017 and their most recent offering "Celestial Fortress" in February 2024. While not much is known about the individual members, Behest has cultivated a following in the underground metal scene with their raw, uncompromising approach to extreme music.
