Dwelling Below

Dwelling Below is a dissonant death/doom metal band formed in 2023, featuring members from notable extreme metal acts like Acausal Intrusion, Hollowed Idols, and Sermon of Rot. The lineup includes Jared Moran (vocals/drums), Anthony Wheeler (bass), and Nicolas Turner (guitar), who together craft a sound described as dark, filthy, and oppressive, with guttural vocals and complex, improvised song structures—though the results often feel surprisingly coherent and controlled for how experimental their approach is.
