Huba Watson

Huba Watson, born Antonio Watson Webley on September 24, 1971, in San José, Costa Rica, is a celebrated rapper, lyricist, and producer known for his unique blend of rap and reggae, paving the way for what is now recognized as reggaeton. Over more than two decades, he has built a rich musical career with numerous albums including "Food Joke," "Cannabilingo," and "Todo Sano," earning a reputation as a double platinum artist in Costa Rica.

His music combines socially conscious lyrics with infectious rhythms, reflecting his commitment to conveying messages rooted in his life experiences and cultural heritage. Huba Watson’s work spans multiple facets of music creation including songwriting, beat making, and production, making him a multi-talented figure in the Latin American hip-hop and reggae scenes. He continues to influence and inspire through both his solo projects and collaborations, maintaining a strong presence in the Costa Rican music landscape.
