Paul Di'Anno is an English singer best known as the original lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Iron Maiden. He was born in Chingford, London, on May 17, 1958. Di'Anno joined Iron Maiden in 1978 and sang on their debut album, "Iron Maiden," and their second album, "Killers." He was fired from the band in 1981 due to his excessive drug and alcohol use. After leaving Iron Maiden, Di'Anno went on to form his own band, Di'Anno, and has released several solo albums. He has also collaborated with other musicians, including former Iron Maiden guitarist Dennis Stratton.
