Lisa Price

Lisa Price is a Canadian melodic rock singer who emerged in the early 1980s with a hard-edged, guitar-driven sound. Born in Chatham, New Brunswick, and having spent parts of her youth in military bases across Canada and Europe, she broke onto the Toronto music scene fronting bands before launching a solo career around 1982. Her 1983 EP *Priceless* featured notable studio musicians and was well-received for its slick production and melodic rock style, with songs like "Empty Heart," "Can't Hold on Forever," and "Heartache" capturing the era's rock vibe.

Throughout her career, Lisa Price gained recognition in the Canadian rock scene with her powerful vocals and polished sound. Beyond her recordings, there is also a Lisa Price who is a vocal coach and researcher involved in singing and well-being in Ireland, but this is a different individual. The Canadian rock artist Lisa Price’s work remains a memorable part of early ’80s melodic rock history thanks to her well-crafted recordings and collaborations with prominent musicians of the time.
