The Gereformeerd Drachtster Mannenkoor is a male choir that was founded on January 23, 1964, with the mission of spreading the message of "Salvation and Redemption" through music. The choir consists of about 60 members from various Reformed churches in and around Drachten, Netherlands. Their repertoire includes a diverse range of religious music such as psalms, hymns, and spirituals, as well as folk songs and selections from oratorios and operas.
Minne Veldman has been the conductor of the Gereformeerd Drachtster Mannenkoor since May 2017, leading the choir in lively performances and recordings. Notable releases include "Adem: Jubileum 50 Jaar," celebrating their 50th anniversary in 2014. The choir rehearses regularly on Monday evenings in Drachten and engages in frequent concerts that are well-received by both members and the public.
