Eckehard Stier

Eckehard Stier is a German conductor known for his versatility and artistic vision. Born in 1972 in Dresden, he received his musical education at the Dresdner Kreuzchor and later studied at the Musikhochschule in Dresden. Stier has held significant positions, including being the Principal Guest Conductor of the Teatro Massimo Bellini in Catania and previously serving as Music Director of the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra in New Zealand. He has conducted numerous orchestras worldwide, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the London Philharmonic, and the Tokyo Philharmonic. Stier's repertoire spans over 90 music theatre works, and he has also been involved in performances of video game music, such as the "Final Symphony" series.
