John Daversa

John Daversa is a Grammy-winning jazz trumpeter, composer, arranger, and bandleader known for his adventurous spirit and genre-blending creativity. Based in the United States, Daversa has built a reputation for his virtuosic playing and inventive compositions, often pushing the boundaries of big band and modern jazz. He is also an accomplished educator and currently leads the Studio Music and Jazz program at the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music.
