Samuel Hudson

Samuel Hudson is a distinguished organist and choral conductor, currently serving as the Director of Music at Worcester Cathedral since 2019. In this role, he also conducts the Worcester Festival Choral Society and acts as Artistic Director of the Worcester Three Choirs Festival. Before Worcester, he was Organist & Director of Music at Blackburn Cathedral for eight years, where he led various broadcasts, international tours, and recordings, including the album *Natus: Music for Advent, Christmas & Epiphany*. Samuel trained as an organ scholar at Girton College, Cambridge, and was Senior Organ Scholar at Wells Cathedral. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Organists and has performed at major cathedrals such as St Paul’s and Bristol Cathedral. His career blends liturgical music leadership with international touring and recording work reflecting his commitment to sacred choral music.

If you were thinking of Sam Hudson, the indie-alternative singer-songwriter from Toronto, that is a different artist altogether with a separate style and background.
