Horatio Parker
Horatio Parker was an American composer, organist, and teacher who lived from 1863 to 1919. He's best known for his choral works, including the oratorio "Hora Novissima" and the cantata "A Wanderer's Psalm." Parker also composed organ music, songs, and orchestral works. He was a leading figure in American music during the late 19th and early 20th centuries and helped to establish the country's musical identity.
