Late for the Train is an indie folk band from Portland, Oregon. The band was formed in 2010 by singer-songwriter Emily Scott Robinson and guitarist Ryan Sollee. Their music is characterized by its lush harmonies, intricate fingerpicking, and introspective lyrics. Late for the Train has released four full-length albums, including their most recent, "The Flowers of Yesteryear," which was released in 2022. The band has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and has shared the stage with artists such as Bon Iver, The Head and the Heart, and Iron & Wine.
