Vansìsiem Lied Duo
The Vansìsiem Lied Duo is an Italian musical ensemble formed by soprano Paola Camponovo and pianist Alfredo Blessano. Born as a duo in 2015 following a trip to Paris, they specialize in the Art Song genre, encompassing the German Lied, French mélodie, and Italian repertoire from the 19th and 20th centuries. Their work includes critically acclaimed albums such as "Gian Francesco Malipiero: Complete Songs for Soprano and Piano" released on Brilliant Classics in 2021, and a forthcoming album dedicated to Pizzetti. The duo has won numerous international competitions and performs both in Italy and abroad, while also teaching and sharing their passion for music with students.
Their recent releases highlight their diverse musical interests, including "Pizzetti: Liriche, Complete Songs for Voice & Piano," "Italiani a Parigi - Parisiens en Italie," and selections from "Clairières dans le ciel." These projects reflect their commitment to exploring and enhancing lesser-known musical works, particularly from the Italian repertoire.
