The Cumshots were a Norwegian hard rock band known for their raw sound and provocative name, which was a deliberate choice to mirror their rebellious and unapologetic approach to music. Formed in 1999 in Oslo by frontman Kristopher Schau and guitarist Ole Petter Andreassen, the band's lineup was completed with the addition of bassist Fredrik Gretland, drummer Tommy Reite, and later guitarist Christian Svendsen. They quickly made a name for themselves in the Nordic rock scene, combining aggressive riffs with a tongue-in-cheek attitude towards both the music industry and societal norms.

Over the years, The Cumshots developed a reputation for their energetic live shows and a series of albums that refused to fit neatly into any single category, dabbling in elements of punk, metal, and hard rock. Works such as "A Life Less Necessary" (2009) and "Just Quit Trying" (2006) showcase their ability to craft hard-hitting music with a sardonic edge. Their discography includes the hard-hitting and humorously titled "Last Sons of Evil" (2003), and the irreverently themed "Norwegian Jesus" (2003), displaying their propensity for exploring dark themes with a sense of satire. Although they disbanded in 2010, their music continues to be celebrated by fans who appreciate their unique blend of rebellion, humor, and staunch rock sensibilities.
