Cold War Kids is an American indie rock band that formed in 2004, with the founding members hailing from Long Beach, California. The band's lineup consists of Nathan Willett (vocals, piano, guitar), Matt Maust (bass guitar), David Quon (guitar, backing vocals), Matthew Schwartz (keyboard, backing vocals, guitar, percussion) and Joe Plummer (drums, percussion). They first gained widespread attention with their debut album "Robbers & Cowards" in 2006, thanks to the standout single "Hang Me Up to Dry."
