Ben Bridwell

Ben Bridwell is best known as the lead singer and founding member of indie rock band Band of Horses. Formed in 2004, the band quickly gained attention with their 2006 debut album Everything All the Time, featuring the breakout track “The Funeral.” Bridwell’s signature vocals and emotionally rich songwriting have been central to the band’s distinctive sound, blending indie rock, alt-country, and atmospheric folk-rock.

In addition to his work with Band of Horses, Bridwell has collaborated with other artists, including a 2015 covers album titled Sing Into My Mouth with Iron & Wine’s Sam Beam. This project showcased his versatility and deep appreciation for songwriting across genres. With his heartfelt lyrics and raw, resonant vocals, Bridwell remains a staple figure in the indie music scene.
