Steve Howe is an English guitarist best known as a longtime member of the progressive rock band Yes. With a distinctive style that blends classical, jazz, and rock influences, Howe has been a central figure in shaping the complex and melodic guitar work that defines Yes’s sound on albums like Fragile, Close to the Edge, and Going for the One. He joined Yes in 1970 and has been a key part of many of the band’s most acclaimed eras, as well as several reunion lineups.
