Anna Mae is a Swiss singer-songwriter born in 1990 near Lucerne, known for her soulful blend of Americana, rock, blues, and French chanson. Inspired by iconic artists like Tina Turner, Johnny Cash, and Edith Piaf, she crafts music that explores themes of love, freedom, peace, and the pursuit of happiness. After leaving her secretary job in 2016 to fully pursue her passion for music, Anna Mae released her debut EP "Let It Roll," followed by her full album "Out of the Woods" in 2021. She has toured extensively across Switzerland, France, England, and North America, including a residency in Chicago in 2022/23. Her recent works include the French-language EP "Chansons de Nadja Bernadette" (2023), showcasing a more intimate side of her artistry by singing in French, a language she fell in love with during her childhood spent on a farm in France.
