Riccardo Doni

**Riccardo Doni** is an Italian harpsichordist and conductor specializing in Baroque music, born in Milan on July 21, 1965. A graduate of the Arrigo Boito Conservatory in Parma, where he studied organ and composition under Lorenzo Ghielmi, he’s best known for his work with Giovanni Antonini’s Il Giardino Armonico (since 1993) and as director of the Accademia Musicale dell’Annunciata. With over 3,000 performances to his credit, he collaborates regularly with artists like Giuliano Carmignola and Mario Brunello, and has recently released albums such as *Affetti Napoletani: 18th Century Neapolitan Music* (2024), *Bach Transcriptions: Six Concertos for Violoncello Piccolo* (2023), and *Durante: Concerti per archi* (2023), showcasing his focus on historically informed performances of Vivaldi, Tartini, and Neapolitan Baroque works.
