Pterodactyl

Pterodactyl is an American indie rock band formed in Oberlin, Ohio, by Joe Kremer, Kurt Beals, and Matt Marlin. The band later relocated to Brooklyn, New York, in either 2002 or 2003. Initially a trio, Pterodactyl's lineup has included other members such as Zach Lehrhoff and Jesse Hodges, with the band performing both as a trio and a quartet over the years. Their music spans genres like indie, experimental rock, math rock, and noise rock. Pterodactyl is known for albums such as their eponymous debut *Pterodactyl* (2007), *Worldwild* (2009), *Arnold's Park* (2010), and *Spills Out* (2011). Their releases are often noted for their eclectic and experimental sound.

Their discography includes other notable works like the EPs *Friday, during the day* (2004) and *I can see a river* (2005), showcasing their dynamic approach to music.
