Seth Avett

Seth Avett is best known as one of the founding members and frontmen of the folk-rock band The Avett Brothers, alongside his brother Scott Avett. Born in North Carolina, Seth helped shape the band's signature blend of bluegrass, indie rock, and Americana since its early days in the early 2000s. With The Avett Brothers, he's been part of a string of acclaimed albums that emphasize heartfelt songwriting, rich harmonies, and raw, acoustic-driven energy.

In addition to his work with the band, Seth has pursued solo projects that showcase a more intimate, introspective side of his artistry. Notable among these is "Seth Avett Sings Greg Brown," a tribute album highlighting the work of the revered folk singer-songwriter. He also teamed up with Jessica Lea Mayfield for a hauntingly beautiful album covering the songs of Elliott Smith.
