MC Joãozinho VT, born João Vitor in 2001 in Osasco, São Paulo, is a rising star in the Brazilian funk scene. He started his music journey at just 13 years old, inspired by the rap and funk sounds of his neighborhood. His big break came at 19, after years of hustling. MC Joãozinho VT's dad, a metalworker, even set up a home studio to support his son's dreams.
In 2018, he signed with GR6, a major funk label, and started dropping hit singles. But it was "Coração Gelado" in 2020 that really put him on the map, racking up half a million views in a month. The follow-up, "Coração Gelado 2," blew up even bigger, hitting 2 million views in just one day. MC Joãozinho VT's known for mixing social commentary with funk beats, and he's worked with other big names like Don Juan and Pedrinho. His debut album "Coração de Ouro" dropped in 2024, cementing his place as one of Brazil's hottest new funk artists.
