David Porcelijn is a Dutch conductor who has made a name for himself in the classical music world. He is known for his passionate and energetic performances, as well as his commitment to new music. Porcelijn has conducted many of the world's leading orchestras, including the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and the New York Philharmonic. He has also premiered many new works by contemporary composers, including John Adams, Steve Reich, and Philip Glass.
