Elisabeth Klinck

Elisabeth Klinck is a contemporary violinist, composer, and performer based in Brussels, Belgium, known for her innovative approach that blends violin music with electronics and electroacoustic composition. Born in 1995, she studied violin at institutions such as Luca School of Arts Leuven, the Royal Conservatory in Brussels, and the University of Gotëborg. Klinck has a strong presence in the contemporary music scene, performing works by leading composers and participating in festivals like Darmstadt and Rewire. Her music often explores the subtle interplay between fragility and force, combining organic textures, field recordings, and synthesized drones with expressive violin to create immersive, atmospheric sound worlds. Her debut album, *Picture a Frame* (2023), showcases this blend of ambient textures and raw violin sounds, receiving praise for its experimental and evocative quality. Klinck is also an active performance artist, incorporating theatrical elements into her shows and working in electroacoustic composition and theatre.
